At the National Portrait Gallery, 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗫 delivered a groundbreaking solution to replace a failed waterproof membrane, whilst safeguarding the building’s integrity and priceless artworks.

Our innovative ‘floating aluminium formwork’ system ensured precision while preserving the architectural beauty of the podium.

The Belconnen Arts Centre Foreshore Path Link transforms Lake Ginninderra's shoreline with a stunning overwater boardwalk, landscaped pathways, and lookout platforms.

This landmark project completes the missing link in the foreshore path network, integrating seamlessly with the Belconnen Arts Centre and surrounding precincts.

The main feature of the project is the steel boardwalk, which hosts two lookout platforms and rest areas on either side of the inlet, the western side close to water level and the eastern side connecting to the existing path infrastructure that continues along the lakeshore to Emu Bank “Eat Street”.

Ngamawarri takes shape!

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗫 is proud of our work to help create the Ngunnawal-themed public park at the Acton Waterfront.

Our work on the park's stormwater infrastructure and foundations is almost complete, and plantings will begin in mid-January.

The space will be open in stages, beginning with the interim park in 2025.

The permanent park will be completed in 2028 and will feature artwork, green spaces, and two pavilions.

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗫'𝗦 Siding Springs Access Road Rehabilitation project ensured secure access to Australia's largest optical observatory.

The works involved significant cutting in high strength basalt bedrock materials adjacent to steep batters.

Large trees were cleared to construct the gabion retaining wall with strict environmental considerations within the National Park. A guardrail was then installed, the road widened, and the pavement was reconstructed.

Works allowed traffic access outside of working hours and in the event of an emergency. COMPLEX completed the work ahead schedule and without any safety, environmental or quality incidents.
