A quick run into Fyshwick this morning for a couple of PFDs from Anaconda Stores and a 12V pump from 4WDSupacentre.com.au.

Followed by a test run of the Adventure Kings 12V pump at home… SO EASY TO USE!

I think I’m ready for a fun afternoon kayak at Googong Foreshores. 🛶🛶🛶

TBH, I’d head out to Manuka Oval just for a couple of Capital Brewing Co.s chilled ginger beers 🍻

So get out there and support the Australian Men's Cricket Team, not to mention Canberra’s awesome local producers and suppliers! 🇦🇺

If you know me well, you know how much I love German beer 🍻

Unfortunately, I’m stuck covering Reception at Adina Kingston until 6pm. 😢

A side of French crepes 🥞 would have gone down really nicely with a brew or two.

Get out there and support the locals… Zierholz Brewery and Le Petit Breton.

Zierholz Pop-Up Bar “Live Music Sunday Sesh” is back tomorrow at Norgrove Park, Kingston.

We have cold beers and other cool beverages & snack options available including selections of scrumptious french crepes from Le Petit Breton!

Danny V and Scotty will be playing live acoustic music from 2:30pm - 6pm. It’ll be a scorcher hot summers day so hopefully the cool music vibes will chill us out! 😄🍺

I highly recommend a trip to the southern end of Googong Dam.
There are so many amazing walks to do!
Today was a bit of an adventure for the though, with our first wander into Burra Creek Nature Reserve.
It was a tough walk, but totally worth it!

Why I ❤️ Molonglo Gorge and Kowen Escarpment Nature Reserves.

🥾 Molonglo Gorge Recreation Area to Blue Tiles Picnic Area walking trail - 6km return.
🦮 Dogs are permitted on leash - let’s face it, there are not too many great bushwalking trails that you can also take your canine companions on.
🌲 There is a lot of tree cover and shade - this is a walk I highly recommend even in the middle of summer!
🏖️ Okay, so it’s not the beach… but there are some great little swimming holes all along this walk if you feel the need to cool down.
🧺 Two great picnic areas… at the beginning (Molonglo Recreation Area - also has BBQs and toilets) and at the turnaround point (Blue Tiles).

Do yourself a favour and take a walk along Molonglo Gorge this Spring/Summer.
