Summit day on Mera Peak, 28 April. Wind was at 30 kph but a beautiful morning. A tough climb up in very cold conditions (-30 with wind chill). Mike Davidson, Pemba Sherpa got up at 8.45 am, Robert Arnold and myself at 9.15 am. Robbie was a happy man albeit suffering some frostbite along the way. My fifth ascent of Mera Peak and certainly the coldest.
