While in Europe we checked out the route for next year's Portuguese Camino tour. It's pretty exciting to be cycling a route that is both naturally beautiful and historic. We are running two tours in April/May 2025. The first tour is already sold out.

Trying to sum up an incredible two weeks cycling across Europe with 24 wonderful people is hard to do. Hopefully this short video gives you all some idea of the fun we had. (Best played with the sound on.)
Sadly today was our final ride. Cycling 90km to Budapest, the whole group banded together to face the rainy morning and everyone manged to complete the distance always with a smile and a laugh. What a great tour, our 2nd Danube trip is complete but this won't be the last. Must find a way to run this tour again. See you in 2026?
Riding mostly in Slovakia today we faced stiff headwinds and no coffee, but spirits remained high and the silliness and laughs continued. What a pleasure to be travelling with this group.
A short ride mostly in Hungary, saw us stopping regularly to enjoy the company of the group. It's a fun (and regularly silly) group! Just before crossing back into Slovakia we visited an 1800s fortress, exploring the tunnels and vaults.
Today we crossed into our 4th and final country on our ride along the Danube, Hungary. Fuelled by sunny skies and yummy cake we rode 80km to the beautiful small city of Györ.
After a great rest day in Vienna it was back on the bikes to ride over the border to Bratislava in Slovakia. A nice cruisey day and to our great surprise there was a free festival on with Jean-Micheal Jarre performing and special guest Brian May from Queen. It was a brilliant night shared with 50,000 locals, to cap a wonderful day.
Today we waltzed into Vienna for a well deserved rest day. It was yet another beautiful day cycling along the Danube.
An easier day today, day 5 of our ride along the Danube. Just 52km from Durnstein to the town of Tulln. Sunny day, easy trail, good company. What more could you ask for?
Day 4 along the Danube. This was a day of highlight visiting the Melk Abbey and finishing the day riding into the Wachau Valley, a famous wine growing region. Staying the Durnstein Schloss we were treated to a wine tasting session the celler.
Day 3 of our Danube took us 72km from the city of Linz to the village of Grein. So much to see throughout the day.
Day 2 along the Danube took us 57km to the city of Linz. Lots of wildflowers today and a first time spotting of a pheasant. Great weather again, cruisey ride, and meeting some locals at a town bakery.
We are back in Europe running the second edition of our Great Danube Bike Ride. First day on the bikes was perfect. Great weather, beautiful scenery and a lunchtime beer at the Trappist Monastery. We are overnighting right on the river at Schlögen in Austria. The perfect start to our cycling adventure which will finish in two weeks time in Budapest, Hungary.
Cycling the Great Ocean Road
Great Ocean Ride. On day 3 head out early from Port Campbell for the spectacular ride to the 12 Apostles. With tantalising little views of the dramatic coast appearing and disappearing as you ride the undulating landscape it's a beautiful way to travel along this iconic road.
