IMPORTANT NEWS FOR WORKING HOLIDAY VISA MAKERS (WHMs) - CONDITION 8547

According to the Condition 8547, holders must not be employed by one employer for more than 6 months.

This condition was 𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒚 𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒙𝒆𝒅 on 19 January 2022 until 31 December 2022. The relaxation has now been extended 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝟯𝟬 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯.

We were contacted by the primary applicant when the Nomination was refused and the primary applicant received an IMMI s57 Natural Justice Letter as the visa was about to be refused because an approved nomination was not available.

We immediately proceeded with the lodgement of a new Nomination and Visa application.

After the lodgement of the Visa application applicants were granted a Bridging Visa C with no work rights, but we successfully applied for and obtained work rights, so applicants were able to continue working.

The approval of the Nomination and the Visa grants were an absolute joy for the employer, applicants and and for us.
