Finding a short circuit the old school way. There's now other way to put it, jobs like this one suck, but when you finally find the problem it is so satisfying! Check out the photos in the comments of the damaged tubing where the trailer wiring runs through. Time now to repair the wires and tubing and secure it properly to avoid the same thing happening again in the future.

A couple of 12v Sirrocco Fans to beat the heat in an MDC Forbes caravan. We also added some additional USB and Accessory Sockets to the kitchen and pantry area for easy access.

All accessories wired back through the van to the factory fitted shunt to ensure the battery monitoring system is 100% accurate with the increased loads.

Well that's a wrap for 2024. Holiday mode activated!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everybody who has supported me over the past 12 months whether it be as a customer, a supplier or just an advocate for the business since I started up earlier this year. My original plan was to have a bit of extra work on weekends to compliment my full time job but I quickly realised working weekends was not going to fulfill the demand out there. Hard to believe that less than 12 months in and this is now my sole full time job and I am busier and happier than ever. Meeting fantastic people every day and getting to work on some amazing vehicles. Thank you all so much for the support again and I cant want to see how this continues to grow throughout 2025!

I'll be back on board Monday 6th January 2025 but that first week is already pretty much full. The number hasn't changed so give us a call in the new year on 0409 016 202 to discuss your options and get your vehicle booked in.

Plenty on again last week, replacing a few faulty alternators, fitting electric brake controllers, tonneau covers, a canopy and dog box, bull bars, driving lights and a heap of other goodies. Leo's Ranger Wildtrak came in for an ARB Summit Bullbar, 9" LED Driving Lights and a Dual Battery Kit.

We retained all of the vehicles factory features including Parking Sensors, LED Fog Lights and Radar for Adaptive Cruise Control, and fitted a 100 Amp Deep Cycle Battery in the tub charging via a Redarc 25 Amp BCDC Charger.

We had Darren's immaculate 200 Series back again recently to fit an ARB Base Rack.

Been lucky enough to fit a massive amount of accessories to this vehicle over the last 6 months including a full rear drawer and electrical system for off grid exploring. It's always great to see returning customers and help transform their vehicle into the ideal off road explorer.

It's been another massive week, completing plenty of odd jobs leading up to Christmas including trips to Dunkeld and Woodhouse for some on site repairs on project cars. What's really exciting this week though is that we've just finished putting together our brand new workshop!! How good does it look! There's been lots of hard work behind the scenes and I've got a lot of great friends and people to thank for helping put this all togetherand I'm so grateful for everyones help. Looking forward to seeing the magic we can make happen in here and continuing to supply Hamilton and surrounds with all things Auto Electrical and 4x4! Enjoy the weekend everybody!

Something very different today, rewiring a 1947 Model 2N Ford Ferguson Tractor, yes that's right a Ford Ferguson!

These are originally positively earthed. We rewired the tractor to be negatively earthed and also upgraded the charging system by replacing the standard genrator and external regulator with an aftermarket 35 amp alternator that has an internal regulator. Pretty cool indeed.

Our mobile service was in full swing this week, spending majority of yesterday working on some farms around Casterton before heading back to Hamilton to complete a few Friday afternoon specials.

We were able to fit and wire a set of LED driving lights to a 200 series, repair a faulty caravan sway controller, diagnose a faulty battery in a quadbike, wire up some Clearview mirrors on a Ranger, install a supplied electric brake controller and Anderson plug in a Colorado, diagnose a faulty instrument cluster in a Commodore and make repairs to some faulty tow vehicle wiring on a Ford Everest, all done on site with absolutely no disruption to the customers.

Always good to get out and see some of the countryside!
