Hemingway's Lakehouse is a tranquil retreat on beautiful Lake Wollumboola.(2.5 hours from Sydney) This gorgeous three bedroom cottage has everything you need for a relaxing getaway with friends and family. You can even catch your own prawns or a crab for dinner. Culburra Beach is less than five minute drive away. Lots of lovely bush walks in the area too. Or just curl up on the comfy couch with a

good book and watch the swans and pelicans on the lake. Relaxed, comfortable and stylish, Hemingway's Lake house is suitable for two families or a group of friends. The location right opposite the lake offers beautiful views. The SheepWash Creek bush walk takes you to the edge of the lake where it meets Culburra Beach - it's a great place to swim and you can have fun floating along on the gentle current. The mature Angophora trees are home to abundant birdlife. The lake is famous for it's colony of black swans although the pelicans may beg to differ. Enjoy cooking up a feast in the kitchen with quality European appliances including gas cook top/electric stove. There are two bedrooms - each with a queen bed. Bed one has lake view. Kids can stay in the bunk room where there's a double bunk and a queen sofa bed which can accommodate 2 kids or adults. There's also a tv with dvd player and small selection of dvd's. Also a box of toys and games for the little ones.
