inal Elders and community. Culburra Beach is just 10kms from Nowra on the NSW South Coast of Australia, this very popular local beach is patrolled during the holidays. Surfers will find great surf conditions, weather and swell; families with small children can also find a safe spot for swimming. Culburra Beach is the town's main attraction where you can surf, swim, fish or wander along long sandy stretches. Lake Wollumboola is a coastal lake is a well known nature reserve with thousands of birds visiting throughout the year. At Crookhaven Heads, you can follow a walking trail to see the historic Crookhaven Heads Lighthouse. Boating, rock fishing and deep-sea charters for marlin and tuna fishing are also popular. A hidden paradise tucked away just waiting for you to share and discover its natural beauty. Please keep Jerrinja Country (CulburraBeach) clean and respect the land we are on, if we all respect, acknowledge and protect Jerrinja Wandi Wandian County the better our planet, environment and shared spaces will be for generations forward. * Pick up and dispose of all rubbish during your adventures in our community appropriately, please recycle everything when possible.

SHOUT-OUT and thanks to all our Nowra Culburra Surf Life Saving Club squads covering patrols at our three beach sites this 2022-23 Summer!

Surf Patrols are operating daily 9:00am to 4:00pm. Please check the SLSC sign at each location for conditions and operational hours!

Help protect three endangered bird species - Little Terns, Pied Oystercatchers and Hooded Plovers - nesting on our dunes and beaches from being trampled or disturbed by dogs, as the critical time of their breeding cycle coincides with peak summer crowds.
