We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join the team aboard Cape Adieu Harbour Cruises for the 2025 season, commencing in mid-March. This unique role offers the chance to lead the kitchen on a luxury vessel, crafting exceptional dining experiences while cruising the stunning coastline of the Top End. You’ll also have the privilege of cooking for private charters, creating unforgettable culinary moments in a dynamic and breathtaking maritime setting.

It’s been one hell of a first season for us as new owners of The Cape. We just wanted to say how incredibly grateful we are to everyone who showed us love, support and kindness as we navigated the biggest sea change of our lives.

It has been one epic journey so far and we have so much more to offer in the new year. Thank you to everyone who came aboard, sent their support and cheered us on. Thank you to our friends and family who rallied us on, even when we struggled to put sentences together (yes owning and running a business is exhausting and exhilarating all at the same time 😅)

We hope to make next year a real season of our own. With more local food and produce, a new atmosphere but the same old charm! We hope to see you in 2025 for a real Taste of the Top End!

As we pack up the Cape after an incredible season we are looking ahead towards a very exciting 2025. With that in mind we are on the scout for Cape Crew in the new year. If you’re looking for a sea breeze or sea change then you’ll feel right at home with us on The Cape. Come and join us in the big blue paddock, as we navigate a new season amongst a thoroughly enjoyable workplace.

Positions available and will commence mid March 2025.

- Skipper (Master 5 & MED2)
- Head Chef
- Bartender
- Deckhands & waitstaff

A little appreciation post for our “Chefy” Alberto.

What a season it’s been! Reflecting on the last five months dining aboard The Cape, we’re filled with gratitude for an incredible first chapter of our new business and you’ve truly been one of the highlights mate. Having you as our Chef has been an absolute joy.

You’re not only a talented chef. You’re an amazing human, who not only brought magic to the Cape kitchen. But also brings light to lives of those around you. You’ve been a leader, a friend, and a true blessing to us. While the boat certainly feels your absence, we’re here, cheering you on as you head into an exciting new chapter of your life.

A massive wholehearted thank you for the food, the laughs and a good taste of adventure in there too…but mainly for your Willie Nelson singing, haha

We went and did something crazy…we went and hosted the Brolga Northern Territory Tourism awards!!

We could not be more thrilled to be here in the heart of the Red Centre as last nights MCs for the Brolga Awards 🏆✨ It was such an honor—and incredibly humbling—to celebrate the talent, dedication, and hard work that drives tourism across the NT. Congratulations to all the winners and entrants—you’re such an inspiration.

What an extraordinary night, honouring extraordinary people!

A CAPE UPDATE 🏴‍☠️

As we start to sail into the Wet Season we will begin to adjust our days on the water.

For the next two weeks we will be cruising as normal, with our brilliant Chef Alberto.
If you’re thinking of booking a dinner on the water with us, now is the time!!

As of the 28th of October our dinner options will no longer be available and will we only be cruising from Thursday - Sunday’s as a Boat & Bar with our Crusie Only option available.
