Very sad to the site at Right Hand Branch with the removal of the massive pine 🌲 tree the was cut down a few weeks back & the mess that was left…all thro the creek aswell, wait till we get heaps of rain and the creek won’t cope & flood that section 😡😢 eye sore now

So many great stories and finds, including the forgotten township of Shamrock, Deep Creek mines, remnants of the 2 mile long wooden flume that survived the many fires since 1867. The stories of threats to kill, fights, arson, shots fired in anger, etc. We even found the long forgotten site of the Landy's Cricket Ground off Binns Road.
