🎄 What will you be filling your plates with tomorrow for Christmas? 🍽️ Do you have a family favourite?
Here at Blue Horizon, we had our first celebration today with family. We had prawns, ham, turkey. Curried eggs and salad. Dessert was fruit mince pies, icecream sandwiches and meringues with cream and fruit. Holy moly our bellies are full.

It’s most definitely pool season! ☀️💦
Our pool cover helps to warm the water even more - but it can be a bit tricky if it’s not rolled up or pulled out the right way.
We’ve written out the simple instructions and will attach them to the handle for all guests to follow.
Hopefully this will lead to less tangles and more swim time. 💙

It’s Leavers 2023 time! 🎉
Dunsborough and the South West will be a buzz with students celebrating the end of their high school ‘era’ this week! (20-23rd Nov)
We wish them a happy, safe time and hopefully they pack more than just 2 minute noodles and zooper doopers to eat. We didn’t think that through very well back in my day! 😬
For non leavers/regular holiday makers who are staying in the area, there’s more information about what’s happening at .wa to make sure you’re not booking any venues that may be out of action due to Leavers celebrations. We want everyone to have fun!

Even as an adult it’s totally acceptable to ‘dibs’ a bed when you get to your holiday house! That mad rush around the house to suss out all the rooms… still happens! 🛏️

In this kind of weather, a dryer is a must have. (Especially with kids!) 🌧️

Our laundry is fully equipped with washing machine (with a quick cycle!), dryer, clothes airer, ironing board, iron and washing powder. 🫧🧺

It’s located in the garage, which means you don’t even have to bring the wet clothes, or muddy socks inside the house! 👏🏻

Blue Horizon of the week: Canal Rocks, Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park. The Canal Rocks boardwalk is so picturesque, all year round. Sparkling, crystal waters in Summer and wild waves in Winter. This is a throwback to a sunny day of adventuring over the rocks. The kids then went swimming and jumping off the boat ramp jetty, where we spotted beautiful giant stingrays. The first sunrise check and coffee run at blue horizon. 🌅 ☕️ A chilly five degrees this morning. It was uggs and oodies all round. Are you a sunrise or sunset person? Coffee from @thecure.coffee (they are basically our neighbours and they have a drive through. Winning!)
