Sculpture By The Bay was set to return for it’s 13th year in March but we are very sorry to announce the exhibition will be cancelled.

We understand this decision is immensely disappointing for the artists, committee, volunteers and sponsors who have been working hard planning for this event, as well as supporters who travel from near and far to Dunsborough.

But based on the latest health and social measures in place, and the serious concerns around community transmission and potential impact of the COVID-19 Omicron variant, this is a safe and responsible approach to take as we navigate our way through the pandemic.

Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding, stay safe and we hope to have a successful return in 2023!

🔥 A bushfire ADVICE is current for people in an area north-west of the intersection of Puzey Road and Metricup Road in the southern part of WILYABRUP in the CITY OF BUSSELTON.🔥

Update time: 02:43 PM, 30 December 2021.

There is no threat to lives or homes.

There is a lot of smoke in the area.

Although there is no immediate danger you need to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes.

The fire started near the intersection of PUZEY RD and METRICUP RD in WILYABRUP.

❗ WHAT TO DO: ❗

- Stay alert and monitor your surroundings.
- Watch for signs of a bushfire, especially smoke and flames.
- Close all doors and windows, and turn off evaporative air conditioners but keep water running through the system if possible.
- Read through your bushfire survival plan.
- If you do not have a plan, decide what you will do if the situation gets worse. You can make a plan by visiting My Bushfire Plan.

If driving
- Be extremely careful when driving through the area.
- Turn your headlights on and drive slowly.
- Watch for emergency services personnel and follow their directions.
- If you cannot see clearly, pull over, keep your headlights and hazard lights on, and wait until the smoke clears.
- If you have a respiratory condition and you have been affected by smoke you should contact your local doctor or call Health Direct on 1800 022 222.

COVID-19

If you are in lockdown or any form of isolation or quarantine for COVID-19, you must do whatever you need to protect your life.

If you have been personally directed to self-isolate or quarantine due to COVID-19 and have been advised to leave the area:
- Find suitable alternative premises and wear a mask. Those in the affected area are permitted to go to suitable alternative premises without putting others at risk.
- Alternative suitable premises may include a friend or relative's house, provided they have their own bedroom, preferably own bathroom, and there are not too many people in the house.
- If you cannot return to your quarantine location within one hour, telephone WA Police on 131 444 to advise them you have had to leave due to an emergency.
- Regardless of your location, continue to follow COVID-19 precautions and maintain appropriate physical distancing.

Blue Manna Bistro

We will be offering Takeaway Tuesday to Saturday from 4pm. At this stage we are doing ready to go meals but we will add freezer meals over the next few days. Hopefully by tomorrow we will also add home delivery service. At this stage we will be serving takeaway through Blue Manna Takeaway. The Vasse Markets

Yes! our Vasse Markets are still running this Saturday 21st March. The limits on gatherings are for static events where the same people are in the same place for a long time. Markets are just like shops and are still open. Some stallholders have withdrawn for the time being to protect elderly or immuno-compromised family members.

We have been in contact with health department and are following all additional protective measures e.g. hand-sanitiser and take-away cups.

Stallholders and customers are asked to stay away if they are ill and the everyone else will just following sensible social distancing. This virus will be an issue for 6-8 months and we will continue as long as stallholders are happy and customers support us - or until are required to shut.
