Royal Princess arrived into the Port of Eden this morning from Sydney and heading next to Wineglass Bay, Tasmania... She is officially our largest ship to date with a total crew and passenger number of approximately 5600... I had the privilege of escorting 6 of the ShoreEx crew around and showing them some of the sights of our beautiful section of the coast... Just before 5pm we waved her goodbye and safe passage and there was also a large contingent up at the lookout to see her off, and we look forward to her return again in March 2025...

Cruise Eden is excited to share the NSW Government's announcement for the Port of Eden.
The NSW Government has granted planning approval for a modification to the existing Eden Breakwater Wharf Extension. This planning approval will allow for larger cruise ships, and increased visitation to Eden.
Specifically, the modification allows for vessels up to 370 metres to berth alongside the Eden Cruise Wharf, and removes the previous cap of 60 cruise visits per year. It also removes the 100m length limitation on other vessel types allowed to berth.
Eden had a record season in 2023/24 with 40 cruise visits from 16 cruise lines bringing over 62,000 passengers to the Sapphire Coast. We are excited for the coming seasons.

Mission to Seafarers this morning paid a visit to the wood chip ship ‘Nine Frontier’, all crew appeared to be in a good mood and 4 of them joined us to return to town to do some sightseeing and shopping…

A number of crew from the Victoria Harbour are currently in town while the cargo on their ship is being fumigated... So we picked them up and started the day by taking them to our storage shed where they were able to look through our donated clothes, beanies and other items before then taking them to Rotary Park lookout, then to town where they are currently visiting the museum before going off to do some shopping...
