While feeding sheep, I came across a flock of Brolgas.
I couldn’t get to close,so I counted from a distance.
I got to just over 100 the biggest flock I have seen on the farm.
So the photo from the phone certainly doesn’t do justice!
We also had two breeding pairs of brolgas rare a young each , this past spring.
So anyone wanting to get some photos, just get in touch.

Hosted a couple of Adventure Rider friends from Adelaide last weekend.
We covered many backroads and great tracks this part of western Victoria has to offer.
They had no idea before hand, but now believe this area is an incredible motorcycling destination.

Alison and Sharon who are from Melbourne, enjoyed a tour today.
Local wetlands, bushlands.
They are amazed at this areas Flora and fauna.
Assuring me they will return.

I took Robyn , from north of Melbourne out this morning to photograph Redtail Black Cockatoos.
One very happy customer, On her first visit to Edenhope Robyn got some magnificent photos.
Also able to show her our local wetlands in their glory. Also for birdos, I have a pair of Brolgas nesting.
Also you can see the “postman are up and running “ along with many wildflowers.
Great time for a local tour, now Spring is here.

Robyn and Colleen thoroughly enjoyed the Redtail Black Cockatoo experience
Discover Western Victoria offered them.

Some eighty birds were found in this flock feasting on the Stringybark seed near Edenhope.

Redtail sightings can be found by DWV anytime for customers.
