The Edithburgh Tidal Pool is a unique and historic seawater swimming pool located in Edithburgh on South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula. The tidal pool offers a safe and scenic spot for swimming, snorkelling, and relaxing.
Constructed in the early 1900s, the pool was originally built to provide a safe swimming area separate from the busy port waters of the Edithburgh jetty. Initially, there were separate pools for men and women due to the social norms of the time. Today, only the former men’s pool remains, and it’s open to everyone .
