Do you know the story of the SS Mildura?

In 1907, while travelling from the Cambridge Gulf in the Kimberley region to deliver a shipful of cattle to Fremantle, the SS Mildura ran aground during a cyclone. Although no human life was lost, very few of the cattle made it to shore. Now, the steamer can be seen from shore at low tide in Lighthouse Bay.

Pro tip: Check out this wreck by land, drone, or boat. Strong currents and shallow waters make for some difficult snorkelling.
