If you only race one weekend in the series, make it Falls Creek.
This is one of the best venues for cross country riding in Victoria and the racing here never disappoints.

Falls Creek Mountain Bike Park is 50km of world-class gravity trails, high in the rooftop of Victorian Alpine National Park. Designed and built by World Trail, Falls Creek's Park showcases gravity and flow in beautiful alpine terrain.

The trails have been built with the rider in mind. Accessible to the newest of bikers and enticing to the most experienced, all trails start in finish in the resort. Easy cruiser, fun flowing descent or all-mountain bash, we've got it and it's all at the doorstep of a ride-in, ride-out village.

This is truly mountain biking for all riders. Plus it's worth 1.5 x championship points.
On both Saturday, January 18th, and Sunday, January 19th, over 100 riders will start en masse from Slalom Plaza, proceed through the village to Parallel Street, and then exit onto the aqueduct.
To ensure the safety of all participants and spectators, we will implement short-term road closures and traffic management measures.

The weekend will be packed with activities including a comedy night, the maker’s markets, art exhibition, circus workshops, paint and sip, pilates, yoga and so much more. Plus, discover the best food and drinks from the region!

IGNITION MTB FESTIVAL FALLS CREEK TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW!
The biggest opening season party of the year is set to rock Falls Creek from 22-24 November! The worlds biggest bike brands and MTB industry will be setup in the event village with demo bikes, displays and activations for event ticket holders to look at/touch/demo/buy.

This 100% social event is NOT focused on racing or strava times, its focused on bikes, bands, beers and bloody good friends all hanging out slap berms all day and parting all night!

The last day for the season is here, and we're going out with a beauty of a day! The sun is expected to shine all day with a few clouds around, we're reaching a top of 7 degrees and winds will remain mild.
The resort is going retro today to celebrate the season in style, so make sure to get out your best onesies, fluro jackets + vintage sunnies. We'll be handing out prizes for best dressed on the mountain!

For those making the most of final laps, our groomers have worked their magic once again, with Wombat's Ramble, Drover's Dream and Main Street ready for your spring turns!

Last lifts this Friday!
End of snow season announcement

Our 2024 snow season is coming to an end. Falls Creek Ski Lifts have announced that the last day for lift operations will be this Friday 13th of September 2024. In line with this decision, Alpine Resorts Victoria have declared the snow season will also end on this date.

The decision was an incredibly hard one to make and taking into account many factors with the priority focus on guest and staff safety and the major element no one can’t control – the weather.

Here at Falls Creek, we are proud to be able to provide a great skiing and boarding experience for visitors through to Friday, given the challenging weather conditions faced all winter. We take our hat off to the incredible snowmaking and grooming teams that have worked tirelessly all winter to provide us with the terrain we got to explore in season 2024.

For visitors that have already booked accommodation in the next few weeks, please contact your accommodation provider directly if they have not already made contact with you.

Falls Creek Ski Lifts have contacted those guests with lift tickets, lessons and rentals from the 14th of September onwards, so check your inbox.

But all is not lost, during the green season our Alpine environment at Falls Creek turns into an outdoor mecca with plenty of activities for everyone. From hiking and biking, to fishing and kayakiing. Stay tuned for more exciting adventures to come for the warmer months!

Dear Falls Creek Community,

We are sharing the news that today that starting today, Falls Creek Alpine Resort is offering a 30% discount on resort entry permits, now just $44 per day.

As you're all aware, recent rain and warmer temperatures have quickly affected snow cover across the mountain, leading to the closure of some lifts and terrain. To continue to encourage guests to the resort despite the unseasonable change in conditions, Alpine Resorts Victoria has decided to decrease prices to reflect the current experience.

With plenty of restaurants to explore, and bars to relax in, 7 lifts still open - come and visit, ski a little for a reduced price and enjoy being high in the mountains for a day or two this Spring!
