IGNITION MTB FESTIVAL T-SHIRTS!! We will have 300 very special t-shirts for sale this weekend with this amazing design done by Isobel Healey Design on them which encapsulates all things Ignition! We had these all lined up last year until the landslide wrecked all our fun so we have been sitting on them waiting to show you all!

Once these sell, thats it. No more. T-shirts will come in black and white with this print and all our awesome sponsors logos. T-shirts will go on sale in the Village Bike Cafe 12:00pm Friday. $50.00 each. There will be no holds. First in best dressed.. literally.

Canyon will have 6 x Torque's to try out. A mixture of CF 9 with SRAM Transmission and CF 8 with Shimano XT. Call in to the Canyon tent and talk to the crew to line up a time to get out on the trails on one of these weapons.

Rach is one of the best female riders in the country with a swag full of medals including national champs, state champs and more. On top of all that, Rach is also a MTB Exercise Physiologist and an all round legend! Landslide Update

The October ’22 landslide continues to block the Bogong High Plains Road (the road up to Falls Creek Resort). It is very unstable and currently moving at 50cm per day. There is in excess of 35,000 tonnes of soil sitting in front of the crack directly above Bogong Village, making it one of the biggest landslides in Victorian history. Work has commenced in clearing the landslide. Government Authorities advise they hope to have one lane open up to Falls Creek by late February / early March. As such the has cancelled all events at Falls Creek prior to 10 March 2023.

Ignition Update

We have considered many options for Ignition and have worked through all scenarios. These include the impact of 1,000 riders per day on other trail networks; the availability of 1,000+ beds per night in other towns; other events scheduled in other locations this summer; the availability of all the demo bikes/brands attending; the possibility that the one lane will not re-open as hoped for and the list goes on.

As such we have made the difficult decision to postpone Ignition until 17-19 November 2023.

What choices do ticket holders have:

1. Roll over your existing Ignition ticket to the new date and maintain the 2022 pricing. There is no need to contact us, your booking will be automatically rolled over.

2. Cancel your Ignition booking and receive a full refund. Simply email your choice to do this to [email protected] ensuring you include your booking order number and whether all participants on your booking wish to cancel. You will need to do this by 31 December 2022.

About Ignition 2023

All of the same sponsors and demo bikes will be in attendance.
There will likely be a price increase. So rolling over your existing ticket avoids any price increase.

Ignition Nov 2023 will be back with a vengeance. If you know us and what we stand for we don’t take things laying down.
