We are thrilled to welcome the **Sydney Course Angling Club** to Forbes for the inaugural **Forbes Fishing Festival 2025** starting Friday! 🐟✨

🌟 **Event Highlights:**
**Local Fishing Workshop for Kids**: Learn from the pros! The Sydney Course Angling Club members will be hosting a fun and educational workshop for our young anglers. 🎣👧👦

**Match Day Competitions**: Watch the experts in action as they compete on Saturday and Sunday around Lake Forbes. It's going to be a thrilling weekend! 🏆

We love having these talented anglers visit our beautiful town. Course angling is such a fascinating type of fishing – make sure you say hi and learn a few tips! 😊

An epic achievement by our friends at Aussie Biscuits! Come on down to the Visitor Information Centre if you’d like to stock up 😋❤️

We did it! Aussie Biscuits has officially set a new record, packaging 272,000 twin packs and making the front page of the Forbes Advocate!

We couldn’t be more proud of our team at Forbes and all the work they do—congratulations to everyone who made this possible.

What’s next for Aussie Biscuits, you may ask? “We’re looking at product development and environmentally sustainable packaging, which we hope will help us get on the radar of even more big clients this year”. – Damian Little, Production Coordinator.

Join us as we recognise the inspiring achievements of our Australia Day Award winners 🏆 at the Citizen of the Year Gala Dinner on Saturday 25 January.

In true Aussie style Rotary Club of Forbes Ipomoea will be firing up the BBQ at Lions Park for a free breakfast to kick off Australia Day on Sunday 26 January (gold coin donations welcome) 🍳

You can then relax by the lake and grab a bite to eat from the food vans 🍔 at Lions Park and enjoy a spectacular fireworks display 🎆
