We've had some amazing days at Forster over the holidays, between our guests staying! Check out our holiday house - plenty of room for 8 people, dog-friendly, swimming pool, adjacent to the lake and a relaxing walk to the town restaurants and main beach.

So many great cafes and restaurants, and activities for adults and kids! Boating, diving, golfing, bowling, swimming in the awesome beach rockpools.

Around 4pm, grab an ice-cream and sit on the lawns outside Si Señorita Forster, near the bridge - so many dolphins putting on a great show for holidayers this year!

Forster has beautiful beaches, lake, boating, golfing, marina cafes and wine bar, restaurants, clubs, and many activities for the kids.

Lots of things to do and places to see in the Forster area!

Places to go for a drive and local beaches - Smiths Lake, Seal Rocks, Blueys Beach, Diamond Head, Old Bar, Port Macquarie, Great Lakes Paddocks Winery, One Mile, Burgess and Tuncurry Beaches.

For kids - swimming at several beaches and the lake (many have rockpools or roped off areas), downtown putt-putt and trampolining, ten-pin bowling, Tuncurry cinema, putt-putt and golf range (hit balls onto the islands), skate-boarding, and so much more!

So many dolphins in Forster lake today, never seen this happen before. We have swum in the lakes with a few around us but this is incredible! 💕

Nordic House is named after the Danish Seiner that the original owner, a local fisherman, operated on Forster waters for 40 years. He built and lived in this cottage for even longer, with the two seafood cool rooms still in place at the back of the garage. Rhys Williams painted "The Trawler Nordic, Forster", and renamed to Nordic Star in the 90s it remains in use today as a picnic boat on Sydney's harbours.
