Oh wow... I have been super quiet lately and I am so sorry for that! But, we recently had the first con of the Australian season, melbourne Supanova, and although I wasn't really feeling in the mood for a convention I dragged myself down there and actually had a really good time! I was Raven from Teen Titans on the saturday and Killer Frost from the flash on the sunday, both pretty basic cosplays but now I have my motivation back and I'm working on some pretty cool stuff, including a costume for a short film and designing my next armour project for comic con... I'll try and keep this page updated, but if all else fails you can find me over on instagram at where i am a lot more active! (I'm the Raven on the left in that pic, other raven unknown. Once again, more Star Trek... But I was lucky enough to be able to shoot my Star Trek cosplay in downtown Vancouver last weekend! The photographer also gave me the phaser and let me borrow the wig for stan lees comic con, so now I'm extra excited!!

Ok so I know I've been pretty quiet but the reason for that is I'm in America!!! I was at New York Comic Con last weekend, in my starfleet captains uniform, and I was lucky enough to meet Yaya Han! I also attended the starfleet academy experience at the intrepid sea air and space museum and got some photos in the captains chair of the bridge of the enterprise (with of course my tribble). I'll be attending LA Comic Con in about two weeks time, wearing the same costume (unless I can rustle something up on the road!). I hope everyone who attended had a blast at AMC, it was hard not to get jealous of everyone's con pics even though I'm having a crazy good time over here!

Quick update from me! I finished a Scarlet Witch commission recently for a lovely customer, and am about halfway through a rey costume for another customer (my last commission before my USA holiday). I also finished a princess jasmine cosplay yesterday, taking this years costume count up to 16. I need to finish off my starfleet uniform and accessories, and my ghostbuster jumpsuit in the next two weeks, as I leave for the states in 14 days!! (Definitely not panicked screaming). I feel like I've been neglecting this page, but I'm still here, just super busy!!! I post a lot more on my Instagram, so check that out if you want to see more regular posts from me!!

Alrighty everybody I have to say that I will not be attending AMC/Pax/the November supanova tour this year, because I will be going to America in October. However, I am lucky enough to be attending New York Comic Con and Stan Lee's Comikaze whilst in the states, so my convention calendar is not empty yet!! I'll be taking fairly simple costumes over there as I'll be travelling for a month, but at the moment it looks like I'll be taking a generic Starfleet uniform and a Jillian Holtzmann costume (ghostbusters). Have to say, I'm pretty excited!!

Just thought I'd share a few pics of my dream cosplays, to date. When i first started cosplaying, in 2012, these costumes were all put aside because I always assumed I'd never had the skill or confidence to actually pull them off. Leotards and bodysuits i always assumed would be out of my grasp, and now I've made three leotards and two bodysuits this year alone. Angela and Celaena were definitely the most time intensive, with Celaena being the ultimate dream cosplay-Ever since I fisrt picked up Throne of Glass I knew I wanted to make that costume, but I never thought I'd actually be able to!! I'm so grateful for the opportunities I had to pursue this hobby and also to the amazing people I've met through cosplay, and the ones who support me and encourage me every step of the way. Love you guys xoxo

I am still alive!! I haven't been very active lately but I've been working day and night on costumes for Comic Con and Sydney Supanova, but the other week I finished a commission for a lovely customer and wanted to share the results with you! So here, the latest in my range of Star Wars commissions! Just a reminder, unless we already are in talks for one, commissions are closed for the time being.

Also please excuse the mess, these photos were taken just as I'd finished the costume and fabric was(is) still everywhere!

This costume... wow. It was a big effort and this is only version one (already planning upgrades). I made the top, belt, skirt attachments, arm guards, cape and mask, and also sewed two wigs together to get the extra length and body (not the most fun I've ever had).
Fun new experiences picked up with this costume included sewing fake fur, sewing two parts of a wig together, making a large headpiece, a whole different makeup style and also had to work around attaching the boot armor whilst making sure i could still get my legs into the boots. Almost every part of this costume required re working about 2 or three times (the top caused me the most grief). All in all I'm insanely proud of this effort, and its been a huge stepping stone for my future costume making!

Work in progress!! Black Widow, for this weeks civil war premiere (ohmygodohmygodohmygod) still have to make up the belts/sew that pants and sleeves on and adjust them/make the wrist things/re dye my hair/ add some pleather panelling to the legs but a good effort for something started at about 2.30 this afternoon!

Hey everyone! I just updated my commission book and I am now booked out for full costume commissions until the end of the year! I won't be taking on anything for the November con season as I will be unavailable in October, and I am booked out for AMC! Got a new blonde wig in today and when I put it on and then my glasses I immediately thought 'Felicity Smoak!' I know the wig is too pale for her hair but apart from that I think it's pretty good! And then, I was already in the outfit so I had to try out my Natalie Rushman-Monaco outfit! Now I can't decide what to wear to Friday night at nova... Natalie, felicity, or Matt Murdock... Hmmmmmm

Just want to give an update on commissions-I am now fully booked for commissions for Oz Comic Con Melbourne, and won't be taking any more before June, and afterwards I will only have one space left for AMC as the second half of the year is looking very busy for me! So after a lot of thought, I won't be taking Jasmine to SupaNova, as I want to instead focus on Angela. But, I will still be debuting two new costumes at supanova! Today, whilst sewing for a client, I cut some pieces of a pattern out of the wrong fabric... And accidentally made 3/4 of a costume for a character I've wanted to do for years! It's a secret (for now) but I'll share small snippets and see who can guess ;)
