Beautiful! Came upon this Iris at my back garden back from North China where it has lots of wild flowers, sunshine and a wild cat laying nicely on the field...new buds of edible tree leaves...

Local forest park under the Taibai mountain. There are tea plantation, plum blossom, beautiful wild flowers...we picked up some wild veggie wormwood. I do not know the difference of the Australian version of wormwood.

Recently I visited a local village. The rural countryside has 100 years old trees. Live fish was netted in the creek. Old safe box was left over. Quiet, little people pass by. I can see the chicken around the barn.

Currently I have a few nice things to show to the world!

I made marmalade from the bitter orange. The oranges grows in the park and in the surburb. No one is eating it because it is bitter.

I picked some yearly for making teas. I guess I cought a coldness, so I poured some honey cotton tea with passion fruit. Marmalade is used in the tea as well.

I cooked garlic leaves with duck blood soup to warm up body. I picked up some wild veggie Jicai to cook with Chinese rice cake. Very yummy.

I took photos of the first red plum blossom, the lettuce and the radish. Winter time is really a season for veggies. I cooked some bamboo as well. There is fresh winter bamboo in the maeket. I cooked some tender marinated bamboo as an appetizer.

We went to the rural town opposite the Jiufeng Mountain and pick up orange and wild veggie. The climbing to the summit is a 3 star work out, but the routes of it has something very interesting. We have a look of the plum blossom tree, then had a tea drink at the start up of summit. Climbing down through a different route and walked along the temple, pagoda and dam. Roughly total 25000 steps of walking.
