This is a unique chance to work in a vibrant and enriching environment where outdoor learning and personal development are at the heart of everything we do. As a School Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operation of our school camp programs, managing resources, and leading a small team to ensure a high-quality experience for both students and staff.
We are seeking an individual who is experienced in program co-ordination and leading groups. This short-term contract position, set for 5 months with a 0.8 time fraction, with the potential for extension. If you are a proactive leader with a knack for organisation and a passion for outdoor education, we invite you to bring your skills and enthusiasm to our team.
Salary Range depending on qualifications: $60,908.04 - $74,312.50 (pro-rata)
Requirements
• A minimum of Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership or equivalent
• 12 Months Program Co-ordinating experience
• Minimum 2 years of Group Leading field experience
• Current Working with Children Card
• Current Remote area or Leader’s Wilderness First Aid certificate
Highly Desirable:
• Bus License (Light or Medium rigid)
• Bike Quals
• Raft Quals

Looking for bus drivers to work on a casual basis driving school students to and from camp. Camp locations vary between National Parks, regional and state parks and hard top facilities owned by Halls at Gembrook and Forge Creek.
Minimum requirements are:
- Bus License (Medium Rigid or above preferred)
- Working with Children’s Check
- CPR / First aid (or willing to gain)

Are you a culinary wizard, a jack-of-all-trades in maintenance or an eager trainee looking for an exciting opportunity? Halls Outdoor Education is calling on individuals with diverse talents to join our spirited team and contribute to the magic of outdoor experiences!

Cook (approx. 3 days per week)
Based at Stringybark Lodge in Gembrook, the cook is responsible for creating delicious and nutritious meals for all our camp participants. This can be from Monday to Friday but may also include occasional weekend work.

Maintenance All-Rounder
Based at our Gembrook Office, this role requires you to be handy with the tools as you keep our vehicle fleet and camp venue in top shape. Highly desirable skills include a MR bus license and welding ability.

Certificate III Trainee (Outdoor Leadership)
This is a 1-year, full time traineeship that is ideal for a motivated person with an interest in working in outdoor education. The successful applicant should hold a manual driver’s licence (or the ability to get one before commencement early January 2024) and have good computer, social and communication skills.

Reporting to the Managing Director this position requires a good head for logistics, ability to plan programs, knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and the ability to lead a team.
