The beds at The G are often commented on by guests….we were so happy when our last guest (Julia - 11 years on Airbnb) said our beds were ‘probably the most comfortable beds I’ve ever had in an Airbnb’! Thanks Julia!!

So, what’s our secret? Good quality beds , cotton sheets, blockout blinds and, most importantly, the calming nature of the waves at night when that’s the only noise you’ll hear.

As so many of our guests are two families with kids or multi generational families, we’ve added a second king downstairs so all parents can have what Julia experienced!

Quiet space to take in the view…..the main bedroom at The G at Gerroa.

Many guests are multigenerational families- grandparents, their children and grandchildren all holidaying together, which we love!

We are always reviewing our environmental foot print at The G and are so pleased to be now providing for our guests.

The pods taste great and are both recyclable and biodegradable. Win win!

No better place to be on a rainy weekend......snuggled up with a good book and a cup of tea. What you cant see is that the fire is on so its deliciously warm and view is amazing.....the amount of water flowing into the Crooked River is making a pretty spectacular sight as the river meets the sea!

We have books in every room at The G and there is a street library on Stafford St about 200m away. If you can’t find anything to tickle your fancy, the Gerringong and Kiama libraries are amazing and there is even a wonderful second hand book in Kiama.

As the weather changes, Seven Mile Beach is still a wonderful place to explore during the day but cosying up at the fire pit at night is also pretty special! 🍂🍁🔥🪵

At The G, we make every effort to be as environmentally conscious as possible, while not compromising on our values of supporting local with a no fuss luxe feel.

This means our guests can relax and enjoy their holiday without worrying….

All our products are organic, including our beautiful bathroom range locally sourced in bulk from who is based in Thirroul. Our dishwashing liquid, dishwasher powder and clothes washing powder are from purchased in bulk from in Nowra.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We also provide other ‘reusable’ touches such as linen napkins, extra tupperware, reusable shopping bags and cups for the local Cup Library.....if you are staying with us, feel free to use all of these things and we will wash/replace as required.

Late Sunday afternoon light in the nook, a peaceful spot to relax at the end of a full weekend.

Unless we have guests checking in the same day, you are welcome to stay as long as you like on Sundays so you can really make the most of the whole weekend!

….and to be honest if our beach trolley wasn’t so darn cute 🚎⛱️👙☀️ you could just carry your towel the 50m to the beach! 🤣🤪

It might be the official end of summer but it’s certainly doesn’t feel like it here in Gerroa ☀️.

This well organised and stocked second hand book store is fantastic and they have a surprising range for the size of the shop. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and are always spot on with their recommendations.

🎁The Salvo's stores in South Nowra and Albion Park are absolute treasure troves. Both have both clothes, homewards, furniture etc and are excellent....they are enormous so leave plenty of time for a thorough visit.

The South Coast is known for its fantastic produce…..grown and sourced locally and where you can buy direct from the maker. There is something special about meeting the person who actually grew the carrots which makes shopping and cooking a very different experience 🥕🧑‍🌾🐟🎣⛴️ An example of a dinner * ……locally caught snapper from the Kiama Fish Market with produce from our weekly veg box @bomobulk and @thepatchygrowers growers @nowrafreshfoodmarkets. There are so many local farms, makers and markets to visit…..so be sure to make ‘food’ part of your holiday down south! The #kiamacoast walk links Gerringong and Kiama and is perfect for a morning walk with the girls or as a family activity! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We normally start at the north end of Werri beach (Gerringong) and walk north toward Kiama. Then, when we have had enough…..we retrace our steps- and finish with a swim! You can, of course leave 1 car in Kiama or get the train home or start from the other end. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The walk itself if absolutely magical- rugged, unspoiled and the breathtakingly beautiful. Gerringong Golf Course is on the hill just behind Gerroa….so it’s about 5mins to the first tee😁. Both the front and back nine are stunning or do the whole 18!
