It is with the heaviest heart that I let you know that our Great Mate Dave Goode passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, 1st December.
There are no words that can describe the loss we are all feeling.

Davy,
We were lucky enough to have you at the helm of the Iron Joy for over 10 years , and part of the family for many more x
I’m pretty sure you loved that boat more than we do !
Our love and deepest condolences go out to Lee and the family during this emotional time.

We would love it if you could Please send through any tributes and photos you may have so we can all celebrate this wonderful man x

Who wants to come to the Coral Sea??

We have up to 7 spaces available on an upcoming 10 night charter, departing Friday 25th of October and returning Monday 4th of November 2024.

This trip will include Swains and Coral Sea . Giving you a great variety of fishing including Sweetlip and Trout and then head out wider to experience the thrill and power of the pelagic.

* Bruce Highway Update
The damage frm the blast has been repaired and the Bruce is open for business 😎👍⛴️

For anyone travelling the Bruce Highway today near Gladstone
This is the Current detours
Travel safe everyone

Bruce Highway closed, detours in place.

Northbound vehicles to detour at Childers.
Lights vehicles can also detour via Mt Perry at Gin Gin.

Southbound traffic to detour at the Calliope Crossroads and connect back to the Bruce via Biloela and Monto.

Blackman's Gap Road is closed to highway traffic but open to local traffic only.

Transport and Main Roads will issue a map shortly.
