Bit of a change up to next years Monthly Medal Competition. As of January, Ladies and Men will be contesting for a Monthly Mug/Wine Glass as well as a Golf Shirt sponsored by Drummond Golf. This will be for Overall Nett so all players with a GA Handicap, members and visitors, will be eligible to win.

Back on the road again tomorrow morning. Heading for Blackwater and Emerald this week. Been having a terrible run with breakdowns lately so hoping all is good this time. Should be in Blackwater by 8.30 tomorrow morning if all goes to plan. Have plenty of work to do first up so should be a good visit. Once I'm done in Blackwater I'll be heading to Emerald for a few days.

Saturday we played the 48th edition of Neil and Inge McEachran’s annual Produce Day. 41 points was good enough to take home a fantastic assortment of groceries, meat and fruit. Rebecca Hillier took out the Ladies competition with 40 points. Neil and Inge supplied a vast arrangement of produce for the days many trophies and we thank them for their continued, generous support. Next Saturday we play the Monthly Medal Final with a Single Stroke Overflow for non-medal players. All booking sheets are open for this week’s competitions.

Well I hope this is the last public holiday for a while. Completely forgot to let Emerald Tourist Van Park know I would be in town Tuesday/Wednesday nights instead of Monday/Tuesday nights. Got a surprise when they rang me querying my arrival time. Anyway I'm off to Blackwater early in the morning. Should get into town around 8.30am. Have a lot of regular customers to visit so will be in town for a few hours. Once I'm done there I'll be heading to Emerald for a couple of days. Due to the shortened working week, I'll be going back to Gladstone after Emerald instead of heading to Capella, Clermont, Moranbah and Dysart. I'll visit there next Monday and Tuesday.

Bit of a delay to this weeks travels, van service first up this morning. Off to Mackay after lunch though for a couple of days. Stop in Rockhampton along the way to sharpen some dog clipper blades. I'll service Sarina tomorrow morning before heading back into Mackay. I'll have to check my diary to see where I am next week for certain but I think it will be Rockhampton or Gladstone areas. Off to an early start again today. Actually forgot to do this yesterday but I was on the road practically at this time. Heading for Biloela soon, then Moura and Theodore tomorrow. Wednesday night will find me in Mundubbera (I hope) and Thursday night Monto. Can feel the cold already. Next week will be Agnes Water, Bundaberg and Gin Gin visits. Well it's a public holiday here today for the Show. Not to big a deal this week as I'm working in the Gladstone/Tannum area anyway. I'll be doing a quick trip to Bundaberg on Friday to get some industrial chipper blades sharpened but other than that it should be a easy travelling week. Nearly ran off the road yesterday driving through Calliope, saw the price of diesel was down to $2.00/litre.
Next week I brave the cold again and visit Biloela, Moura, Theodore, Mundubbera and Monto. Call, text or message me if you need anything sharpened.

Seems like ages since I posted anything but anyway I'm back on the road again tomorrow morning. Nice and early I'll head off to Bluff and then Blackwater. Once I'm done in Blackwater I'll go to Emerald and stay there 3 nights (going to be cold there). Thursday morning will see me heading to Capella and then onto Clermont. I'll overnight there then make my way to Moranbah and Dysart before heading for home Friday afternoon. The following week I'll service the Gladstone area. Forgot to do this before I left home so better catch up now. Heading to Mackay and Sarina for a few days now. Should be heading south again about Thursday with some work to do in Rockhampton. Going to get cold once this rain clears, and I'm heading south tomorrow. Off to Maryborough and then Hervey Bay early in the morning. Should make Maryborough around 8.00am again, depending on the roadworks. I'll slip into Hervey Bay once I'm done and visit my regulars. On my way home later in the week I have a stop to make near Childers so might poke around there for a bit. Next week I'll head the opposite way and visit Sarina and Mackay.
