🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE - UK ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 🚨

Starting 8 January 2025, Australian passport holders will need to apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) to travel to and enter the UK.

ETA applications open TODAY, 27 November 2024! 🎉

You will need an ETA if you are:
• Visiting the UK for up to 6 months for tourism, business, family visits, or short-term study
• Transiting through the UK, including cases where you do not pass through UK border control

Important details: • Cost: GBP 10
• Processing time: Usually within 3 business days, but can take longer
• Validity: 2 years, or until your passport expires (whichever comes first)
• Unlimited travel to the UK within the ETA’s validity period

The ETA is compulsory for Australian passport holders arriving in the UK from 8 January 2025, including those just transiting.
