Dear italktravel & Cruise Blue Mountains clients,

After 20 years located in Katoomba and due to the ongoing uncertainty around international travel in a post COVID world and the unavailability of any suitable staff we have had to make the tough decision to close the shop front and to work from home.

The hope is that this will be a temporary move and that in the next 12 months we will be in a position to re-open.

Staff: Dean and Dianne will still be continuing, however Matthew, is no longer with the organisation and will not be returning.

Dianne will be taking a well-earned rest and will be on extended leave.

What does this mean to you and what are your options?

If you have a current booking with us?

1. We can continue to service your travel arrangements from our home office, this will mean predominantly contact via email and phone.

2. You can ask for your booking to be moved to another travel agency, we will facilitate this as much as suppliers and the new agent will allow.

3. We can provide your booking numbers and reservation details as well as the supplier that these belong to and you can facilitate the arrangements directly with them.

Italktravel & Cruise Blue Mountains will continue to trade with all licenses and insurances in place, we are more than happy to continue to service your travel needs.

However, due to our reduced staff numbers, we, unfortunately, will not be able to offer the speed of service we have previously.

A one-way Safe Travel Zone has been introduced. Passengers from New Zealand will be able to travel to eligible Safe Travel Zones in Australia without the requirement for quarantine on arrival. For two-way quarantine free travel, a further update will be provided on 6 Apr 2021.
