Aardvark Adventures We are an adventure tourism business located in Tasmania, Australia.

We provide a range of abseiling, caving, white water rafting and kayaking adventures, as well as team building activities, conference tours and school outdoor programmes. We also run ski tours to New Zealand, Canada and the USA as well as escorted small group tours to locations such as Canada/USA, New Zealand, Bali and Vietnam.

Last week we had a great bunch of students and staff from Bayview Secondary College out rafting on the Derwent River..

It was a stunning day on the water, warm weather with a tail wind...

the students went hard all day throwing buckets of water over other crews with amazing accuracy.

Boarding parties were relentless with Ben (TIC) ending up in the river..
Everyone enjoyed a block of local chocolate part way through the trip.

Matt and John (the guides) are totally amazing with over 100 years of river time between us.

The was a stunning on the river, the students went hard all day. Buckets of water with amazing accuracy thrown at the other boats. Boarding parties were relentless with Ben (TIC) ending up in the river..

Last week we had Bayview Education Centre rafting on the Derwent River in perfect condition. The students are always a pleasure to work with as are the quality staff Ben and Celeste. With Matt, John and myself we had over 100 years of river experience between the guides..

Anyone for indoor surfing, these amazing young med students had a blast away from the books and study for a few hours...

Today we ran a fun session for these 2nd year med students. It’s a hard slog for these amazing students with enormous amounts of study before they get to see any patients. Students were hoping to get into the following colleges general practice, pediatrics, geriatrics, forensic medicine and psychiatry. Good luck guys in your chosen field, we had a total blast

This amazing drone footage was taken during the filming for the Dam Busters footage.. It look great on the TV in high def, this drone footage was high definition..

This Gordon Dam footage of Denham Hitchcock abseiling from the Gordon Dam was taken during the filming of the How Ridiculous Basketball world record hole in one from the Dam. Denham was the presenter for the show, "Sunday Night" on Channel 7. The producer for the show was the amazing and very professional Paul Waterhouse he was a pleasure to work with. We had a couple of days to prepare prior to the boys arrived to throw balls towards the ring at the base of the Dam..

I organized the clients to set up the Timelapse at the base. This was back in Jan 2018, all clients and guides had a blast and all went home safely.
