Missing Turkey so what better way to feel like I am there by making Kadayif!

Kadayif is tiny and crunchy noodles made from flour and water. It is enhanced with butter, walnut or pistachio, cooked in oven until golden and then soaked in syrup so that it becomes a soft and sweet treat

Look forward to savouring a little Taste of Turkey while we wait to return again.

Happy International Dessert Day!

One of my favourites is Turkish Ice Cream particularly the Pistachio flavour. I have a tradition when flying out of Istanbul the last thing I have is a Turkish Ice-cream (Pistachio of course!) It costs me 8EURO for the pleasure but boy it's worth it!

Pamukkale, means "Cotton Castle" in Turkish, We visit this area for 2 nights on our Signature Turkey tour. You will have time to enjoy the thermal pools for yourself.

This truly spectacular natural site is located in Denizli a town in western Turkey known for the mineral-rich thermal waters flowing down white travertine terraces on a nearby hillside. It neighbors Hierapolis, an ancient Roman spa city founded around 190 B.C. Ruins there include a well-preserved theater and a necropolis with sarcophagi that stretch for 2km. The Antique Pool is famous for its submerged Roman columns, the result of an earthquake

There is always something so dreamy about Turkey! 😀💖Lonely Planet couldn't have said it any better: A richly historical land with some of the best cuisine you will ever taste, scenery from beaches to mountains and the great city of İstanbul.

The country's most magical scenery is to be found in Asian Anatolia, where beautiful vistas are provided by the vertiginous Mediterranean coastline, otherworldly 'fairy chimney' rock formations and wavy valleys, the alpine pastures of the Kaçkar Mountains, and golden beaches such as 18km-long Patara.

Coffee lovers!

Turkish coffee can be found in many other countries, however, it’s only in the vicinity of the Grand Bazaar that you can buy the Turkish coffee of Nuri Toplar.

Established in 1890, not much has changed in terms of the excellent Turkish coffee that Nuri Toplar roasts with wood fire, giving it that exceptional taste.

We will stop in here whilst in Istanbul to treat you to this.
