Just a taste of Moreton.
Didn’t even get the snorkeling on video where we saw sharks, fish, stingrays, turtles. Tangalooma wrecks. Saw dugongs pop there head up briefly. Lighthouse walks, champagne falls and more!

Don’t mind the watermark on the song 😆 was a free download so you’ll hear “sound stripe” every 30 seconds or so and needs a bit more editing which I’ll get to one day…… maybe.

Little Vid, driving out to steep point, Awesome spot, wish we could have booked longer than 2 days. Saw lots of sharks, Dolphins and had a blast.

• THAT’S A WRAP OF OUR LAP •
18mths of trekking our way across this giant country in an attempt to complete the full lap all while the World goes into a pandemic and it finally comes to an end!! 😩😢

We’re insanely lucky to have missed most of the Covid madness, and still been able to keep adventuring 90% of the time! As you can see we made it moooost of the way with only NSW and part of Vic yet to see… but gotta save ourselves some good bits for later👌🏼

The best parts of this whole experience have been:
💫 The amazing friends we’ve made along the way
💫 How much closer we’ve become as a couple - let’s face it, what couple decides to spend 24/7 together after only dating for 1.5yrs!
💫 Falling absolutely in love with this Country, some of the remote parts have been the most incredibly beautiful and our absolute favourite! ( Hi, Cape York and Steep Pt👌🏼)
💫 We have learned individually what’s most important to us in life and it’s crazy to us that it took this trip to understand that!
💫 One of our favourites: conquering our biggest fears - 🐍🦈 🐊, jumping off cliffs and “being killed by strangers” … 🤣🙄

Nothing quite makes you more grateful for our health when one of us is bed bound with a random mosquito virus so in the week we’re were supposed to be doing the Gibb River Road, we spent checking out the walls of Kununurra hospital. Alas, this time we were well versed at the curveballs of life and travelling, that we were just SO grateful it wasn’t a longer term illness 🙌🏼

Our biggest take away has been our resilience though, our setup when we took off was Moby the Opus and Bruce the Patrol (Pic 1️⃣👉🏼) and after a hell of a lot of trials and tribulations, and a lot of advice to give up, we have come home with a whole new setup of Bazza the Mazda and Lucy the caravan (Pic2️⃣👉🏼)!

So now we have finally stopped and settled in our new home 🏡 on the Sunshine Coast only metres from the beach and we can’t wait for our next adventure to begin! 💕🏝 (As we look forward to a slower lap for round 2!)

Thanks for all the love and support on this trip, we have never felt alone at all and that’s thanks to you! 😘

P.S - Now that we’ve stopped you can bet your ass that there’s going to be 4,000+ photos and videos uploaded from our adventures! Sorry, not sorry? X

After 7 months in WA, it was finally time to cross that border and start our trek home to QLD! What a 7 months it’s been, we have seen sooo much and have had an absolute blast!!

Still so much of WA we haven’t seen which we’ll try to catch on the next lap 😉 😉
