I'm still recovering from having my wisdom teeth removed, and am taking the time to catch up on some admin work behind the scenes this week, so no Winnifreds Wednesday.
But, I did want to take a moment to remind you that our Halloween pieces will only be available until October 31st, before they're vaulted for next spooky season.

Introducing the first of a new line I've been working on... 'Capsule Wardrobe'.
Earlier this year I was introduced to the concept of a capsule wardrobe and how articles of clothing in neutral tones will be versatile enough to co-ordinate together, making deciding what to wear each day just that little bit easier.
I was so drawn to this idea as constructing my wardrobe has always been a bit challenging for me.
I decided to set about designing some brooches with the same concept in mind;- some pieces in neutral colour schemes that will pair nicely with outfits of any colour- but what about subject matter? 🤔
I have always been fascinated by time capsules and things of days gone by, so what better pairing for 'capsule wardrobe' colourschemes than 'time capsule' themes?
Nostalgic warm and cosy iconography from days gone by;- things you might have seen in your Nana's house.
So, with all that being said, here are the first two pieces in our new Capsule Wardrobe line, "Nana's Pearl and Clasp" and "Aunty Denise's Copper Pots".

It's been such a joy to curate and plan out which pieces to make to express how truly excited we are to be heading back to an event after so many years. For those wanting to organise budgets etc, all of the new collection pieces will be $75 (with any seconds grade pieces being $70), with the exception of the Bug Appreciation Society Set being $58 (seconds grade $53).

It's been just the most blustery and windy few days here on the Gold Coast. I can feel the seasons changing! It seemed the perfect day to share with you the next of our Brooches By The Bay sneak peeks, a piece that was inspired by one of my Heirloom Charm designs. I hope you all love the brooch version of "A Nice Day For Sailing". It will be available on the day, and in the shop afterwards! ⛵🌊

We have quite few Halloween, Christmas and Valentine's Day brooches available, but after Friday 8pm QLD time our seasonal pieces will be removed from the shop (with any that are still left, not being available again until their respective holiday releases in the future).
