It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Allan Walker, who joined Lonestar Coachlines in 2018.
Allan recently came out of retirement to drive with us again, signing off his last email with:
“Allan Walker here, just confirming that I have come back from retirement to drive for Lonestar Coaches on a casual basis.”

That simple message reflected Allan’s dedication, warmth, and the quiet humour we all appreciated.
He was a true professional and a kind soul who made a lasting impact on our team and the passengers he served.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Allan’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all of us at Lonestar.

Rest in peace, Allan. 💙

Since Friday eight, Lonestar coaches were deployed to support major rail replacement operations between Roma Street Station in Brisbane and Sydney Central Station.
Spanning over 900 km, this critical route connects two of Australia's busiest transport hubs. With portions of the rail network temporarily offline, Lonestar stepped in to ensure continuity of service and minimal disruption to public transport.

Our team has been operating continuously since Friday, travelling hundreds of kilometers daily, providing comfortable, safe, and reliable road transport during this essential operation.

We’re proud to contribute to the wider transport network when it matters most – and even prouder of our drivers who show incredible professionalism and endurance on long-haul assignments like this.
