Hello facebook friends,
well finally covid 19 restrictions are over and Thailand is inviting foreign visitors back to Thailand not only to travel and have a holiday but also to take advantage of the cheaper medical and dental services that they offer that are cheaper than in your own country. Doesn't matter if you're vaccinated or not. Thailand is open and welcomes you.
This leads me to another announcement. Now in Thailand w**d or cannabis or ma*****na is now legal. We often hear of ma*****na as being a party drug but more importantly it's a natural plant that also has medical properties and helps people with cancer, chronic pain etc.
So if medical cannabis is still too expensive in your own country consider the benefits of cheaper yet safe medication now available in Thailand.

Thailand is getting into the w**d game but it's not all green. Don't plan on heading to Thailand before you consult this guide on the new cannabis rules.

As you know first there was the covid19; then the delta strain came from India; now there's a third new strain from Africa that means international borders are limited. Looks like there will still be a long while before international travel is freely open again.

Its 18 months since international travel closed because of covid 19. Things couldn't be cheaper in Thailand including medical trips as international tourist numbers have declined. You can still go to Thailand for discounted medical treatment whether it be elective surgery, dental surgery or cosmetic surgery.

Just remember you need a covid 19 vaccine and must stay in hotel quarantine arriving in Thailand and upon returning back to Australia. That's if you can get a ticket.

Unfortunately Thailand is going through a third wave of covid 19 infection and is in lockdown again. Doesn't look like its too safe yet Queenslanders.

It looks like the covid 19 situation is not getting any better. There are still restrictions on travelling to Thailand for medical trips and until things improve there's no sign of Australians being allowed to travel overseas let alone Thailand.

At the moment because of the COVID 19 crisis no one is travelling to Thailand. In addition, the economic fallout of the corona virus people can't afford to travel to Thailand for medical work. All we can do is ride out the virus and when things return to normal perhaps plane tickets, hotels and the price of medical procedures will become cheaper.

In Thailand because so many foreigners come to Thailand for medical services there are doctors and nurses and medical staff who speak English. They want your business so they will go out of their way to ensure you receive good service..

In Australia you go see a doctor after booking an appointment that can take days sometimes weeks because of the long waiting list. If you need an x-ray you get a referral from the doctor and travel to a radiologist. If you need a blood test you have to get a referral to see a pathologist. If you need to see a specialist you need a referral as well. Afterwards you have to go back to your doctor to get the results. Then you have to travel to a chemist to get your medication.
In Thailand you go to a hospital and in the same building you can see a doctor then go see a radiologist, pathologist and any specialist and get your medication all in the same hospital without referrals and travel; and in the same day. No need to go a hundred different places by car and wait for hours and days. Australia it's so inconvenient while in Thailand it's all so easier and convenient.

In Australia there are too many patients and not enough doctors, dentists and other medical staff. This pushes up the price of hospital and medical care. In addition, waiting time is long. Some doctor's clinics won't accept new patients because there are too many. In Thailand there are plenty of nurses and doctors that you can walk straight into a hospital of doctor's clinic or dentist and instantly be attended to.

In Australia the cost of having cosmetic surgery is expensive. In Thailand it's cheaper and just as good as Australia and you get an overseas holiday as well.
