The ship introduced several revolutionary design elements, including the "Magic Carpet" - a cantilevered platform that can move up and down the side of the ship, serving as a tender platform, restaurant, or bar depending on its position
Features the "Infinite Veranda" system in many staterooms, where the balcony can be incorporated into the main cabin space with the touch of a button

Magic by Moonlight - From December 27 to January 26, at the Broadwater Parklands, Surfers Paradise is home to an incredible 400 captivating larger-than-life 3D light sculptures, featuring more than 30,000 lightbulbs. From an underwater aquatic wonderland with bobbing jellyfish and sea turtles to lions on the prowl in the animal kingdom, top stepping back into a prehistoric world with dinosaurs and a towering volcano to a encounters with colourful fairies and unicorns, Magic by Moonlight will enchant families young and old. The light festival is the brainchild of Sam Crocker, who is renowned for his mastery in 3D decorative sculptures for theme parks and entertainment venues over the last 16 years. Here is a sneak peek at some of the light sculptures, taken on my recent visit.
