You’re part of a community that’s changing the world - one voice at a time.
We meet every Wednesday from 6.00-8.00 pm at Kingston House in Cameron Ave, Kingston Park. If after trying the choir, you decide to register and become a member you get to join in on the benefits:
IT’S FUN
The choir is funky and friendly. We sing songs that are joyful and uplifting with musical direction and support from 2 of Adelaide’s most skilful conductors - Heather Frahn and Michelle Byrne.
IT BUILDS WELLBEING
Weekly singing makes us feel good. Neuroscience proves that singing connects the neural pathways in the brain in different ways - releasing endorphins that make people healthier, happier and more creative.
IT’S INCLUSIVE
Whoever you are, whatever age you are, whatever you do and whatever language you speak, you are welcome at With One Voice Kingston Park. There are no auditions because we know that everyone can sing.
IT’S SUPPORTIVE
With One Voice Kingston Park is a local community choir. We get together every week to sing, share supper and build real connections between the diverse people in our community.
IT’S CONNECTED
We’re part of and we’re supported by the With One Voice movement (creativityaustralia.org.au) - a network of more than 20 choirs across Australia committed to strengthening communities and inspiring individuals to find their voice.
AND… IT’S TAX DEDUCTIBLE
When you pay your quarterly membership fee via Creativity Australia (our parent body) you will be issued a tax-deductible receipt because Creativity Australia is a registered charity. The fees are used to pay for our conductors, our weekly supper and the venue.
The fee structure is simple. $100 a quarter for those who are fully employed and $50 a quarter for those on low/fixed incomes. No one is ever refused membership due to lack of money.
