We are ecstatic to announce that last Friday evening at the highly prestigious Australian International Olive Awards. Gooramadda Olives, a small boutique olive grove in Rutherglen Victoria, was awarded 7 Champion Trophies & 2 Reserve Champion Ribbons. Awards were:-

Our rose gardens, rose hedge, hydrangea gardens & orchids are looking stunning. There are now so many garden beds visits regularly to maintain them all. Our gardens are available for viewing by apt, limited spaces / time slots.

2024 GOLD, GOLD, SILVER, SILVER awards for our Extra Virgin Olive Oils & Infused EVOO, at The Australian Golden Olive Awards. The Awards & Celebration dinner was held in Rutherglen, Victoria. Chef Stewart Gilchrist presented an exquisite four course meal featuring Olives and Extra Virgin Olive Oils each course.

It's going to be a beautiful day. Morning mist over the Murray River, coffee on the front verandah over looking the olive trees and watching the mist peacefully disperse. Cellar open for tastings and sales Saturday & Sunday from 10am.

This weekend if you buy Dad a jar of olives for Father's Day you can have a complimentary label to put on the jar confirming they are definitely for Dad and only to be shared at his discretion. Naturally we'll have other great last minute foodie ideas for Dad beyond the olives.

Once you have used a handmade soap you wont be able to go back to bulk produced soap again. Available at our cellar door and online.

Australian Golden Olive Awards 2024 entries. We are the Chief Stewards for this Olive Oil competition. There are entries from all over Australi. This competition is a double blind, meaning the entry numbers are changed prior to going for testing and to the international judging panel. Australia and particularly Victoria produce some of the best Extra Virgin Olive Oils in the world. Best wishes to all of the entrants.
