This is a true testament to the dedication of volunteers who work tirelessly to preserve and share Gympie region’s rich history through this unique rail experience.

Congratulations to a passionate group of individuals, dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich heritage of rail experiences and the history of the Gympie region. The Mary Valley Rattler Volunteer Team have been awarded gold for ‘Outstanding Contribution by a Volunteer or Volunteer Group’!

Since the tourist steam train’s relaunch in 2018, this remarkable group of volunteers have welcomed more than 145,000 guests onboard the heritage experience.

Who doesn't like a good show? Because we honestly love them! We're so excited for the Gympie District Show to return from the 16th of May to the 18th of May and bring with it a jam-packed program from FMX riding to the Rodeo entertainment.

Poona Lake 🌲
