The 24/2025 season is sadly over. With over 2000 train passengers visiting our region via Journey Beyond Rail on the Great Southern journey. It was fantastic we could guide the passengers to areas of the Grampians National Park, Halls Gap, Stawell and The Journey of Pomonal Estate Fallen Giants Vineyard

TOMORROW ▶️ Saturday 8th Feb: 9am meet us at the Halls Gap information centre for a town history walking tour. This small town has big history and discover this during our easy stroll around the town and outer edge finishing about 10:45am. Just $28pp. (Note: number 3 on the below list is not currently available due to the NP partially closed but you can do the others)

I don’t generally like to mix my business with politics but at the moment it is same same. The Grampians has been on fire for 52 days (I think - give or take) we are coming to an end soon (we have to be) and the Halls Gap township, community and business need you to spread the word 💚 please visit us in the next 12 months.

Everyday I hear “I feel for the businesses in Halls Gap” and we all know it’s not just our Halls Gap businesses struggling but all the businesses, especially in tourism within 100km + radius. But the Halls Gap businesses are struggling beyond what any business can be prepared to survive though, from an emotional and financial point of view. If this town can’t survive this period then it will have a far bigger impact than just the 130 registered tourism businesses in Halls Gap. We all understand that right at this very moment it’s not ideal to visit but what can we do ? We can spread the word with family, friends, colleagues just anyone we speak to. If you and them can consider and book a trip within the next 12 months to Halls Gap. Start planning, and book, just pay a deposit. If everyone did this - it will help. Please share with everyone you know - and this is how you can help right now 🙏🙏🙏🙏💚 this will be more helpful than any other action or gesture. (Photo 4/2/25 - taken myself)

Last week just two bookings who decided to keep their bookings. A lovely couple from Goondiwindi in Qld (I forgot to get a photo) and these lovely ladies who celebrated Katrina’s special birthday 🎁

We fortunately could welcome the Journey Beyond Rail this afternoon, although we had to modify the tours because of current fires still burning, the 230 or so passengers loved our region.
