Calling all runners! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Harrietville has plenty of running events, but there's only one run by the local community (excuse the pun). The Harrietville Half Marathon! Choose 21.1 km from Bright or 10 km from Smoko. Its happening on October 8th and we still have availability. Register your spot via the website in the comments. 🌄🌿

Harrietville has a long history of hiking and bushwalking 🥾🏞️ In the past, some of these trails were actually used as stock routes for cattle accessing the mountain plains. 🐄🏔️ From the 1880s, both winter and summer tourists started to fall in love with the natural beauty of the high country, leading to the transformation of many of these routes into beloved bushwalking tracks and scenic trails.
