The building is the historic courthouse, built in the 1890’s by convict settlers. It has now been converted into completely self-contained, fabulously comfortable accommodation.
The old holding cells (jail cells) have been converted into bathrooms (with underfloor heating – something we are sure the old visitors to the cells would have appreciated), and the old exercise yard, keeps in its original these housing a table tennis table, and dart board (not to mention a wood burner for those chilly nights).
There are fires located throughout the building create a really snug, warm and cosy environment – the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. And, newly installed air conditioning is available in the formal living and dining rooms.
