Today our tour of Greece comes to an end. What can we say? Athens, Delphi, Meterora, Arta, Patros, Olympia,Kalamata, Gythio, Monemvasia, Nafplio, a private tour through the Corinth Canal & back to Athens. Over 2,200 kms with our coach driver Christos & our tour guide Nena. Then onto the Emerald Sakara for a magnificent 8 day, 7 night cruise to top off a wonderful tour. What a fabulous time we have had. As our group make their way home, some off on other journeys, thank you all for joining us and we hope you made new friends and wonderful memories to share.

The tour group has now concluded our land tour, two weeks of beautiful Greece and now we depart for our 8 day, 7 night cruise to the Greek Islands and Turkish Coastline aboard the majestic, brand new Emerald Sakara! Bon voyage!

We are in Greece, on tour with 16 fabulous clients, enjoying the amazing sites that Greece has to offer. Greece is so much more than the islands its famous for, but the mainland is truly something to see. From Athens to Delphi, Meteroa, Arta, Patros, Olympia, Kalamata, and now in Gythio, the scenery is nothing short of beautiful.

Wow, it’s finally here! Been a long 4 years since I’ve taken a tour group and tonight we make our way to Athens where 16 guests will all gather on the 8th to begin 3 weeks of our amazing Greece Tour. Everyone is so excited and so am I.
The office will be open during my absence in good hands with capable travel experts. In saying that I will be back in the office on the 9th October. Keep an eye out for our trip photos coming soon. Cheers ✈️🥂

This is why you have a trusty travel agent and travel insurance. Alison has cancelled and rescheduled my flights, given us accommodation options which George has physically checked out and booked (because my room booking at this hotel ends tomorrow!), she’s organised refunds and has guided us on what to do for travel insurance claims.

Honestly, no matter how seasoned a traveller you are, if you don’t use a good travel agent, you shouldn’t travel. Travel is not the same as it used to be. Two travel agent friends of ours in Europe, who we shared our itinerary with, commented on how thorough she is!

Greece relaxes Covid 19 rules!

Greece is the latest European country to remove all COVID related entry requirements for inbound travelers, with the
measures to be formally scrapped from 02 May 22. The move arrives in time for the country’s busy summer holiday period, with Greece authorities also agreeing to get rid of all internal vaccine passport requirements from 02 May until at least September, in a bid to incentivise more international travelers. Great news!

NZ to reopen to Australia from April 13

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has announced Australians can resume regular travel to New Zealand from April 13.
The country has held firm to tight border restrictions through the COVID-19 pandemic, with a largely shut borders for two years.

However, the arrival of the infectious Omicron variant - sending local cases skyrocketing - has lessened the need for a wall to keep the virus out.
Tourism Minister Stuart Nash said Wednesday's announcement was the most exciting moment for the industry in two years.
"We are ready to roll out the green and gold carpet ... we have missed you," he said.
Currently, only Kiwis, regular residents and some critical workers are able to enter NZ without spending a week in quarantine. That will change from 11.59pm on April 12, when vaccinated Australians can travel.
Traveler's from visa waiver countries and valid visa can follow from 11.59pm on May 1.
"We have now received guidance that it is safe to significantly bring forward the next stage of border reopening work," Ms Ardern said.
She said the border plan wouldn't be changing, which is music to the ears of the decimated tourism industry.
