My Story
Jacqueline Dee is an Authorised Marriage Celebrant with boundless energy and a creative heart. Sydney born and raised, Jacqueline and her husband of 26 years moved to the Northern Illawarra to raise their two children in the close knit community of Helensburgh NSW, 22 years ago.
With a background in both event management and travel and tourism, Jacqueline developed core organisational and communication skills. Further studies led Jacqueline to a career shift and she entered the field of Family and Relationship Counselling in 2005, a role she continues in today. Jacqueline has had experience teaching Sexuality Education in Primary Schools, is a Senior Group Trainer and a Clinical Specialist in Trauma recovery. An area of speciality has been working with and delivering educational programs to Step-families.
With a passion for music and writing and an eye for detail Jacqueline states ‘becoming a Celebrant just felt like a natural progression for me’.
Jacqueline’s has great appreciation for the importance and value of ceremony and ritual within our culture and society. Her professionalism, cheerfulness, good humour and optimism are a winning combination in her role as an Authorised Celebrant.
