Jacqueline Dee is an Authorised Marriage Celebrant with boundless energy and a creative heart. Sydney born and raised, Jacqueline and her husband of 28 years moved to the Northern Illawarra to raise their two children in the close knit community of Helensburgh NSW, 24 years ago. With a background in both event management and travel and tourism, Jacqueline developed core organisational and communic

ation skills. Further studies led Jacqueline to a career shift and she entered the field of Family and Relationship Counselling in 2005, a role she continues in today. Jacqueline has had experience teaching Sexuality Education in Primary Schools, was a Senior Group Trainer and a Clinical Specialist in Trauma recovery. An area of speciality has been working with and delivering educational programs to Step-families. With a passion for music and writing and an eye for detail Jacqueline states ‘becoming a Celebrant just felt like a natural progression for me’, it’s a perfect fit! Family has been at the forefront of Jacqueline’s life she deeply values ceremony and ritual within our culture and society. Her professionalism, cheerfulness, good humour and optimism are a winning combination in her role as an Authorised Marriage Celebrant, specialising in Weddings and End Of Life Ceremonies.

Today I had the enormous privilege of officiating Shaun's farewell service, what a special human being, contributing so much of his life to the game he loved (NRL) and to his adored family. Travel changes us in unexpected ways, it deepens our knowledge, sharpens our senses, and somehow brings us closer to our true selves. My UK trip this month was so fulfilling in this way. I work with so many English, Scottish & Welsh families in my funeral celebrant work and what a gift it is to have a deeper and richer understanding of their ancestral roots. Here are just a few snaps from a truly memorable travel experience, reconnecting with family and in many ways… myself.
Spring wedding season arrives this weekend for me and I’m renewed in my gratitude for my little biz and all the joy it brings 🩵

30 years ago today we said I do! I woke to a beautiful card from Mark with words that made me laugh & cry including ‘Thankyou for being our travel agent’ 😛 This afternoon we visited Kumarakanda Kumara Maha Viharaya Buddhist temple here in Hikkaduwa and received a blessing from the senior monk 🪷 It was such a beautiful experience and one that we are both truly grateful for 🙏🏻 here’s to the next 30 MD .. I love you! ❤️🥂💍
