With the recent rain the water in Hervey Bay has a lot of fresh water in it cause if it to go brown like dam water, a short boat ride while having morning tea and this was our playground today on the Aqua Oasis Cruise 🏝️😍

Hervey Bay offers the most ethical approach to whale swims in Australia, we are governed by rules and proceedures within the Great Sandy Straits Marine Park that other operators in Australia don’t need to follow.
Our approach to whale swims leaves the interaction solely up to the whales, Our guests enter the water and let the whale approach us, we brief the guests that they are to lay as still as possible on the surface of the water and not to swim after the whales, this is also affirmed by our guests wearing floatation vests, not wearing fins and being instructed to stay attached to the vessel via a mermaid line at all times.

We finally got back out on the Aqua Oasis Cruise after the bout of bad weather we’ve had lately 🌊 Despite the cloudy skies, the sea was a dream, and we loved having guests from all over including Sydney, South Australia, and beyond explore our backyard with us!
Witnessing a distant waterspout was an unexpected thrill! ⛵🌀(photo in comments)
We are back out again tomorrow only a handful of seats left, the rain won’t stop us and the wind prediction is perfect, come out for a dip in the ocean 🌊
