How stunning is the Murray River? Just imagine cruising along here in a houseboat!

You can't beat a Mid Murray sunset 🌅 Here at Big Bend (near Nildottie), the limestone cliffs are some of the tallest along the Murray River, and are rich with ocean fossils and colonies of bats. 🦇

The magic starts when the sun sets, with the sky illuminating the landscape with pastel hues - like .mcneilly's recent visit. 📷

Further up river, yet only three hours from Adelaide are more great boats to hire at Renmark/Paringa!

Another town full of accommodation options, lovely places to dine and you can also enjoy wine, ales and gin!

Renmark is a popular spot for water sports, the arts and weddings and is also home of the first houseboats on the Murray River.

Waikerie was established in 1894 when its first settlers arrived by paddle-steamer. Large fruit plantings now surround the farming community and the town is truly the centre of the citrus and fruit industry in South Australia.

A great town to check out with a fabulous riverfront, and many places to eat and stay.

Next hire location upstream from Mannum is Blanchetown, known for having two bridges across the Murray but only one is used for traffic! The other offers a great viewing spot of the river and Lock 1.

Murray Bridge is the largest town on the Murray River in South Australia and has everything visitors could need, including regional shopping centre, restaurants and sporting facilities.

REGISTER NOW! The ballot for the third and final round is open now until 11:59pm tomorrow, Tuesday 20 February.

Register for up to two voucher values, which are redeemable on more than 100 participating businesses across our Riverland, and Murray River, Lakes & Coorong regions.

Vouchers on offer include hosted tours and experiences, accommodation and houseboat or guided tours of an equal or higher value, including:

🛶 $100 experiences vouchers
⛺ $100 vouchers for one-night minimum stay accommodation
🛌 $200 vouchers for a two-night minimum stay accommodation
⚓ $750 vouchers for a houseboat or guided tour.
