One of the many awesome things you can see in Richmond is the Richmond Bridge!
The bridge was built by convict labour between 1823 and 1825 so convicts and others could travel between Hobart and Port Arthur. It was originally named Bigge's Bridge after John Thomas Bigge who visited Australia to report on the state of the colonies.

Driver/guide Tony had a fantastic time exploring Richmond the other day with his passengers and took this awesome photo of St Luke's Anglican Church. This church was built in 1834 and there are only a few churches in Tasmania older and most of those have either been rebuilt or altered. So if you love history this is a great place to go for a walk while you are in Richmond!
