Statement from P&O Cruises -

We would like to share some significant news for P&O Cruises that has been announced today. Early next year, we will be farewelling the much-loved P&O Cruises Australia brand and will rebrand to become part of Carnival Cruise Lines. This means that Pacific Adventure and Pacific Encounter will become Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter and join Carnival Splendor to remain based in Australia year round, with Carnival Luminosa joining us for the summer season. Separately, Pacific Explorer will leave the fleet in February next year after many wonderful years with P&O Cruises.

Under Carnival Cruise Line operation you will continue to enjoy many of our most loved onboard experiences and itineraries, and it also means we will be able to offer the great benefits of Carnival Cruises including their wonderful loyalty program and their IT systems which will make for an improved pre-cruise and onboard experience. We are all immensely proud of P&O Cruises Australia’s 90-year heritage of dedicated operations in the region and welcome this new and exciting next chapter of our operations in Australia and the Pacific. Wow, what a jam packed few days! Impromptu mother and middle daughter trip to Hawaii for 4 nights! ( I know …4 nights! … crazy) but we feel like we have been here for a week! We have fit so much in but are exhausted and happy that come home for a rest! Today brought a lovely day for a ship inspection on board one of Celebrity Cruises gorgeous ships “Celebrity Edge”. 🚢

These photos seriously don’t do it justice! 😍😍

The ship was next level gorgeous - lots of quirky art work and imaginative touches! Lots of space, open areas and very spacious overall which was a nice feeling as a passenger. It really is a beautiful, modern and clean ship perfect for honeslty everyone!
