Our recent Bruny Island Cruises guests have loved having the opportunity to watch this gorgeous elephant seal chilling along south Bruny island enjoying some rest after foraging at sea. Crew member Zen captured this footage as well as some of our friendly local fur seals.
A bottlenose dolphin 🐬 was the perfect escort for today's Freycinet Aqua Express service to Hazards Beach from Coles Bay. Thanks to crew member Sarah for this stunning video. #freycinetaquaexpress
Who's up for a case of Tassie's East Coast blues 🙌? What could be better than taking in the pristine white sands of a secluded beach along the Freycinet Peninsula surrounded by turquoise waters? Wineglass Bay Cruises crew member Sarah took this stunning video of Passage Beach on yesterday's cruise.
Merry Christmas from the Pennicott family to yours. Wishing everyone a safe and happy festive period. Thank you so much for your support.
We are excited to launch Cape Raoul Cruises. This 90-minute tour cruises the rugged coastline from Port Arthur to Cape Raoul, with daily departures from the Port Arthur Historic Site. Cape Raoul's ancient, dolerite columnar cliffs are definitely a highlight, soaring over 250 metres high. Our catamaran, Port Arthur Explorer, has been purposely built to explore this amazing coastline. It is enclosed on three sides and has full walk around capacity to help guests immerse themselves in the environment. Cape Raoul Cruises commences operations on 21 December. Visit www.caperaoulcruises.com.au for more information. #Caperaoulcruises
You could be in another world as you cruise the dramatic coastline of south Bruny Island. This footage from @arunrajs showcases the stunning Monument sea stacks which guard the Bruny Island coastline. Our Bruny Island Cruises skippers are skilled in navigating this spectacular part of the world on our yellow boats.
Sound on - hearing these majestic creatures take a breath so close to us is amazing. Simply a breathtaking encounter to have these inquisitive whales come right up to our stationary boat on their own accord. Thanks to skipper Tim for this beautiful footage?
The perfect pic for a game of eye spy! 🕵️ what can you see? Maybe a little yellow 🚤 or a humpback 🐋 or two? And don't forget the soaring dolerite sea stacks of the Candlestick and Totem Pole! Just another day on our Tasman Island Cruise. Thanks for the pic skipper Tim.
We said there would be whale 🐳 spam and here it comes. Check out this AMAZING encounter with some humpback mums and calves on yesterday's Wineglass Bay Cruise. Thanks to skipper Noah for sharing this beautiful footage. We love listening to the guests' squeals of delight. We are squealing in the office too 🤣#whales #happywhale #eastcoasttasmania #tasmania #australia
Some inquisitive teenagers 🐳 came and checked out our Wineglass Bay Cruises' guests today. This is just one of the many reasons to get out and about in the #tassieoffseason - thanks to Charlie for sharing this wonderful video from today's experience.
This magnificent white bellied sea eagle definitely had their eye on something tasty at Fortescue Bay today. They were trying very hard to capture their prey but to no avail. But it gave our Tasman Island Cruises' guests a lovely close encounter on today's cruise. Thanks to skipper Nick for the beautiful footage.
Thanks to @maaviharayatra for sharing this stunning video of our yellow boat cruising right up to the Tasman Arch on our Tasman Island Cruise. The Arch is basically what is left of a sea cave that was created by wave and wind action over thousands of years. It is wonderful to get a view of and through the Arch by water and then also on the other side from land.
