UPDATE 6 SEPT - The City of Hobart advise that all tracks are now open to and from Fern Tree. A large tree down on the Silver Falls Track has been made 'passable' (or at least pass-under-able), and contractors will be on site on Mon/Tues to finish the clean up on the Silver Falls Track.

We’re putting out a call for Hobart’s mountain biking community to join us on the mountain this Sunday to help create a new link from Main Fire Trail to the start of the Jurassic Shark and the Tip Top Track.

🫵🫵🫵🫵

It’s dirty, fun and physically demanding work, but you will be ably guided by our Trackcare crew and volunteers.

Expect mattocks and shovels.

Once done this 100m section of new track will make riding across the Cascade ridgetop so much easier and fun.

ℹ Date: Sunday 18 August 2024.
Time: 10 am – 3 pm.
Meet: Main Fire Trail, Wellington Park. Come up from the top of Old Farm Road toward Jurassic Shark and Tip Top. Look out for the Trackcare teardrop banner and our track work in progress signs.
